Ropemaker’s Cottage offers quality self catering accommodation for up to 6 people in a tastefully converted barn, situated in a small hamlet near the Somerset/Devon border. The cottage lies just a mile from Wellington on the edge of the Blackdown Hills and is ideal for sightseeing, walking and cycling. It provides an individual, relaxing place to stay, where holiday makers and business people can unwind in a relaxed and rural setting.

Ropemaker’s Cottage offers accommodation for up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. There are 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, a wet room, a bathroom, well equipped kitchen area with cooker, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc and open plan sitting/dining room.

There is also space to sit and relax on the oak floored landing area. The cottage has good access for people with limited mobility with one of the double bedrooms and a wet room on the ground floor.
There is a private patio and barbeque area with garden furniture and guests are welcome to share our large, mature garden and stroll around the paddock, pond and vegetable garden.

All bed linen, towels, tea towels are provided.

We are only 5 minutes from junction 26 on the M5, 10 minutes from a mainline station and the bus from Taunton stops outside the door. We have ample off road parking.
